If you want to tour the Thanet area you need a car. Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate are only a few minutes away. Broadstairs was our favourite. You can understand why Charles Dickens loved living there.

It is a very pleasant place to be. Nice characterful buildings and individual shops. The sandy beach looked clean, with safe swimming area. Plenty of good places to eat and stop for drinks. Hotels within walking distance of the shops and bay. Buses every 10 minutes around the coast to Margate and Ramsgate. Part of the Coastal Path. Dickens museum.

Beautiful seaside village, great restaurants, friendly vibes, amazing sandy beach, walking trails, great little gift & antique shops, very busy on the long weekend we were there, but it didn’t feel too crazy crowded, recommend visiting Broadstairs.

Really pretty, lovely clean sandy beaches.
Really pretty, lovely clean sandy beaches. A small seaside town with only a small shopping area with small independent stores. Some nice restaurants.
As with many seaside towns there are some closed down shops and more maintenance needed in places, a little jaded in parts. However the main town Beach, Viking Bay is one of the prettiest I’ve seen. Residents were friendly and it felt safe.

Do not visit in the winter or when it is raining. The menu is very limited at weekends and if there is a function at the time of visit, you can forget about any available facilities in the hotel.
We booked tea for one evening and this was extremely disappointing for the amount of money charged.

good location near beach and over looking sea , although our room had no view. Lovely coastal walk , went in winter I guess- march , but still a lovely walk and we were lucky with the bright days .lunch was lovely as was breakfast. Staff very accommodating and attentive, nice bar area to chill in the evening. Room above woke us at 5am as floor boards very creaky but bed was comfortable
The location is ideal - very close to the seafront with lots of bars and restaurants in the immediate area. The staff were warm, welcoming and very attentive to our needs. We stayed in the Oriental room, which was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had a cooked breakfast which was one of the best I have had in a hotel or b&b in a long, long time.
This is definitely going to be our first choice of accommodation next time we visit Broadstairs.
Stayed here countless times before and always reviewed the same way.
This hotel is possibly one of the best on the Isle of Thanet. Yes Thanet is actually an island.
This hotel boasts phenomenal beach views and tremendous value for money.
If you want luxury or basic This is definitely the place for you.
Breakfast was good value
Location is perfect for the beach and in easy access to Margate and Broadstairs
A hidden gem of property, my first and only choice to stay whilst in Broadstairs visiting family and friends - perfect location for the town. Right on your doorstep. The property is just fantastic can’t fault it in anyway. Excellent host and such a wonderful comfy cosy flat with everything you need to short or longer stay. Clean , fresh linen, lovely bed . Just super 10/10

Exceptional apartment which absolutely suited our needs for space, comfort and location.
Lovely host who was extremely personable and available to greet and ensure everything was to our liking when we left.
Would not hesitate to stay here again. We love Broadstairs so no doubt we will be back to stay here regularly.
Lovely property, the aesthetics were beautiful and the design had been well thought out. Comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. It was very clean and cosy, but will enough space to enjoy without being on top of each other. Brilliant location right in the heart of Broadstairs and close to the beach.
great room.Breakfast delivered to door due to covd, select from menu the day before, presented beautifully in a wooden box warm croissants, fresh juice, yogurts etc. Coffee available all day and nibbles in the lounge area. Location a few minutes from the beach with parking. Would definitely recommend.
We were made to feel very welcome at this friendly family run hotel. The food was excellent and the room very comfortable and clean. Set in a lovely location with stunning views overlooking Stone Bay with easy access to the beach and within strolling distance of beautiful Broadstairs and Viking Bay.
Only a one night stay but everything we needed - very comfortable, clean, kitchen with plenty of stuff to make tea, coffee, toast etc and a warm welcome from Annette. Parking space in front of the building. Only five minutes walk from the bandstand on the front. Would highly recommend the apartment
The location, the amenities, the room, the staff, the breakfast all were to a very high standard. And all at a good price. When I head back to Broadstairs Number One will be where I'll be staying. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
the facilities were perfect for my requirements. I was working remotely so needed good internet. Very clean. Saw previous complaints about the shower, but i thought it was fine. A short drive or jog to Broadstairs beach.
Location is great - we love Broadstairs. Breakfast was good. The hotel doesn't change so we got what we expected in terms of accommodation. Staff were helpful and friendly and working to covid guidelines.
Location was amazing - a lovely beach stones throw from the front door. Parking is a huge bonus in this part of the coast. The apartment had everything you needed and more. Very well decorated and clean.
Loved the hotel. Food was amazing - lovely breakfast. We had two evening meals which were delicious. The location was outstanding. Laura on reception was fabulous - helpful, welcoming and good fun.
